MUSIC MURAL

I was recently commissioned to create a mural for Catalog Music, an amazing record store in the Valley. If you love vinyl, you need to check them out! The goal was to recreate one of my digital artworks using paint! After playing around with a few ideas I decided to go with using Posca acrylic paint pens, for their precision and durability. The mural begins with the 5 lines on the musical staff and then each line transports the viewer on a different journey in the same way the music can take us on so many different emotional and auditory paths.

This mural was a joy to create. I loved the vibes of the store and connected so easily with the job as I’ve been a musician my whole life!
