Petite Pieces Winner!
I recently entered my original art piece “Still Life Party” into Aspire Gallery’s “Petite Pieces” competition and I am so excited to announce that I won the judges choice prize!
The prize is my very own solo exhibition at Aspire Gallery.
The judges had some wonderful feedback that gives me inspiration to keep creating.
Check it out below!
‘“Still Life Party” is an original, commercially ready, and clever artwork – truly highlighting all the criteria that “Petite Pieces” seeks. On closer inspection, you can identify that Kristina demonstrates a good understanding of her mediums, colour, placement, space and design – in a piece that is quite chaotic. It is bright and vivid to capture attention, but is a piece that really could have only come from the artist’s head and truly resonates the artist’s brand. For a competition where “commercial capability” is one of four main criteria, Krisitina’s work demonstrates the range of options for her future career – from original artworks, to surface design, to product ranges and licensing. Her work demonstrates an adaptability that will open doors.’
